TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
